On February 27, MASA Jazz Club will host pianist and composer Christos Yerolatsitis, joined by saxophonist Toms Rudzinskis and double bassist Andrew Downing.
Christos Yerolatsitis is a Cyprus-born pianist and composer with international experience, trained in the Netherlands and active across various music scenes in Europe and beyond. His artistic foundation lies in the post-bop tradition, which he develops through contemporary jazz aesthetics, improvisation, and a distinctly personal musical voice.
The program features Christos’ original compositions – music that explores everyday experiences, inner states, and states of consciousness. The pieces move between lyrical, spacious textures and more intense, rhythmically intricate passages, revealing a wide dynamic and emotional range.
